Company and
help at home.

For older adults in Tampa Bay

We spend time with your parent and help with groceries, meals, cleaning, laundry, rides, and other everyday tasks they’d like a hand with. You choose the help and visit schedule together.

For parents living independently, especially those who have lost a spouse and have family far away. Other families are welcome, too.

What we can help with.

The Time Together Plan

Your parent might want someone to talk to, help with dinner, or a ride to the store. Together, we choose what to include in their visits.

Company & conversation

Time to talk, take a walk, or enjoy a hobby with someone who gets to know your parent.

Groceries & errands

Shopping with your parent or shopping from their list, putting groceries away, and restocking household supplies.

Meals & medication reminders

Preparing meals and reminding your parent when it’s time to take their medication.

Help around the house

Cleaning, washing and putting away laundry, and sorting mail with your parent’s permission.

Rides & outings

Driving your parent to errands and outings, with time to go at their pace.

Lawn & household jobs

Helping with light lawn work and arranging help for other household jobs you agree on.

We agree on the tasks and time for each visit before starting. We don’t provide medical care or help with bathing, dressing, toileting, or lifting.

Your parent
has a say.

Before visits begin, we talk with your parent about their routine, interests, and the help they’d welcome.

Your parent chooses the help.

They decide what they want help with, what they’ll keep doing themselves, and what stays private. We ask before making changes to their routine.

Meet before visits begin.

Your parent can meet the person who will visit before agreeing to visits. You can contact our team with questions, requests, or changes.

You can ask to change the plan.

We agree on how often to visit, how long to stay, and what to help with. If your parent wants more company, fewer tasks, or a quieter day, we talk about what to change.

How to get started.

01

Send a request.

Fill out the form below with the help your parent wants and where they live. We’ll contact you to discuss whether we can help and arrange a call.

02

Make a plan together.

On the call, we agree with you and your parent on the help, visit schedule, and updates they want shared. Your parent approves the plan before visits begin.

03

Try 30 days of visits.

The five selected families pay no service or setup charge for 30 days. After that, you decide whether to continue. We agree on a price before paid visits begin.

Get updates when you can’t be there.

See what happened during each visit.

Your private family page will show visit dates, notes, and completed tasks. You’ll also get email or text updates. We share photos and personal details only with your parent’s permission.

Include your siblings.

With your parent’s permission, siblings can help plan the visits. Choose one family member to handle changes with our team.

Review the plan each month.

Your parent and family discuss what’s working and what needs to change. If you raise a concern, we’ll explain what we can do and follow up with you.

Your parent chooses who gets updates and what we share. They can change their mind by telling us. They don’t need to use an app.

30 days with no service or setup charge

We’re choosing five families to try companionship and help at home for 30 days. Those families pay no service or setup charge during that time.

Send your request by October 31, 2026. Visits begin December 1, 2026. We may close requests earlier once the five families are chosen.

Before the first visit, we’ll agree on the help, schedule, and ongoing price. You choose whether to continue after 30 days. Groceries and other household purchases are separate and must be agreed in advance.

First, we talk with you and your parent about the help they want. Sending this form doesn’t book visits or commit you to paying.

A few words is fine. Leave out medical records, home entry codes, and financial details.

Sending a request is free. Our team will contact you before any visits are agreed. The person receiving help must agree to the visits.

Before visits begin.

Does my parent have to be widowed?

No. We designed the service for parents who have lost a spouse and have family far away, but other families are welcome. You can also ask for help for yourself.

What if my parent is unsure about having help?

Your parent can meet their companion before agreeing to visits. We ask what they’d like help with and what they want to keep doing themselves. They can say no or ask for changes at any point.

How many hours or visits are included?

We decide together how often to visit, how long to stay, and what to help with. There is no fixed number of hours. The plan depends on what your parent wants and what we can arrange.

What happens after the free 30 days?

We agree on the help, schedule, and ongoing price before the first visit. You decide whether to continue after the free 30 days. The price depends on your parent’s plan. Sending a request does not commit you to paying.

Do you provide medical or personal care?

No. We offer company and everyday help, such as rides, meal preparation, and medication reminders. We do not give medication or provide medical treatment, bathing, dressing, toileting, or lifting. We cannot respond to emergencies.

What if a visit needs to change or my parent is uncomfortable?

Tell us directly or ask your family contact to get in touch. We’ll discuss what to change or whether to stop. Before visits begin, we’ll agree on how to handle schedule changes and absences.

Where is the service available?

Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and surrounding Tampa Bay communities. Tell us the ZIP code where help is needed so we can check whether we can visit.
